Volunteer Support

The 2010 Mobility Cup cannot go ahead without volunteer support.

We need volunteers with a variety of skills, to fulfill vital land and on-the-water positions. We particularly need to recruit volunteers to act as Sailing Companions: people with knowledge of basic racing rules who accompany Silver Fleet participants while practicing and racing. If you are able to help us with this, please indicate that you are willing to be a Sailing Companion.

Other duties include:

Greeting participants and handling registrations.
Rigging the boats (coaching will be given by qualified volunteers).
Guiding participants around the venue.
Helping participants in and out of boats (lifts will be available).
Removing sails from the boats at end of the afternoon race.

Please email us with any questions about volunteering at the event - and remember, we do need a variety of skills.

Here's the volunteer form, as both a fillable, emailable pdf and a Word document. It's the same form, just in different formats. (Some people have told us their computer cannot handle the fillable pdf; at least the Word form can be emailed.) Of course, either can be printed, filled by hand, and either mailed or faxed to us.
